DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 2, 2012-- DaVita Inc. (NYSE: DVA), a leading provider of kidney care services that is committed to improving the quality of life for those diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD), today announced that its Texas clinics had generated $93,000 in charitable contributions in the state through its "DaVita Way of Giving" initiative.

As part of DaVita's® larger national charitable giving efforts, teammates at each DaVita clinic were invited to request contributions for the 501(c)(3) charity of their choice.
